Hello! My name is Brittany Garber.
I am a Lowcountry artist whose work celebrates the quiet beauty of coastal life and the joy found in everyday moments at home.
Working primarily in acrylics, I paint with historic hues and impressionistic strokes. My style echoes the patina of time, like treasures discovered in a beloved family beach house. Every work begins with an iridescent gold underpainting, a nod to my faith and a reminder of His light that shines through all things.
Rooted in my role as a wife, mother and avid gardener, my work honors the balance between tending home and nurturing creative freedom. Each piece invites the viewer to slow down, breathe deeply, and see God’s glory reflected in the abounding details of creation.
My studio, Summerhouse, is aptly named for the intersection of my two favorite places: vacation and home. Summerhouse exists to weave surprises of delight into homes and daily routines coast to coast. Through a growing textile collection and original art, It is my greatest desire to make “home” our favorite destination.

I design patterns to bring warmth and soul to everyday spaces. Whether it’s a powder room in need of softness, or a kitchen calling for a quiet touch of color.
